TESTING SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT

BeNoble offers expert electrical testing:

Secondary injection, primary injection, VLF cable testing, infrared scanning, resistance tests, oil sampling and more. Annual calibration on all equipment.

Testing Services

BeNoble offers a comprehensive range of testing services to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems with particular focus on industries where electrical continuity is critical, such as power plants, substations, and industrial facilities.

All our test equipment undergoes annual calibration to maintain accuracy and reliability.

Secondary Injection Testing

Comprehensive secondary injection testing for all types of relays. We provide precise digital test reports accompanied with each test for easy access and storage in substations. All equipment calibrated annually.

Primary Injection Testing

Primary injection testing on all new installations to verify circuit functionality and ensure correct ratios and polarity. Advanced equipment generates precise reports, minimising human error.

Resistance Tests

Resistance testing to ensure secure connections and prevent hot connections. All equipment delivers accurate and reliable test reports.

Pressure & Open Gap Tests

Upon completing an installation, we conduct pressure tests on bus bars and open gap tests on vacuum bottles, generating detailed and comprehensive test reports.

Speed Test Analyser

Detailed reports on the closing and opening times of circuit breakers. The equipment produces its own comprehensive test report automatically.

Mag Curve Testing

Mag curve testing on current transformers using specialised equipment. Produces detailed reports on the knee point and ratio, instrument generates its own comprehensive test report.

Oil Sampling

Oil sampling on all transformer oils, analysed at our off-site laboratory to assess various quality parameters. A detailed and informative report on the oil sample is provided following testing.

VLF Cable Testing

Very Low Frequency (VLF) cable testing for MV and HV cables to detect potential insulation failures. Applies a 0.1 Hz frequency during planned outages or new installations, facilitating early identification of faults in cable insulation.

Infrared Scanning

Infrared scanning identifies potential electrical faults such as overheating, faulty components, and loose or corroded connections by detecting hot spots caused by excessive heat.

How We Report

Utilising advanced instruments, we generate detailed reports directly from the test equipment, minimising human error and ensuring precise, reliable, and auditable results for every project.
